It was the first Bumiputra company to enter the oil and gas industry, initially focused exclusively on offshore projects. A Bumiputra company is a company owned and operated by indigenous Malaysians. SEEN enter the oil and gas industry in a partnership with Shell Oil Company. Over the years, SEEN has increased its service offering and now has 5 main business lines, which are :-

SEEN has been and continues to be a major contributor to the development of oil and gas industry in Malaysia. They have worked on over 200 offshore sites, logged more than 27 million man hours and been awarded contracts well in excess of Ringgit Malaysia 1 billion.

The clients of SEEN are the oil majors and Petronas. Petronas is the state owned Malaysian oil conglomerate that is a Fortune Global 500 company. In addition to Petronas, SEEN has worked with Shell Oil Company (Shell), ESSO Oil Company (ESSO) and BASF. SEEN has continuously provided these companies and its other clients with quality service in a timely manner within budget and has achieved an outstanding safety record while doing this. Additionally, SEEN has formed a number of joint ventures and strategic alliance with major multinational companies such as Bechtel, Mitsui, Mitsubishi, Tokyo Gas and Rockwater BV.

The safety record achieved by SEEN is one of the best in the industry. This important accomplishment has been recognized by SEEN’s clients through the receipt of various safety awards. In 2005, SEEN has achieved more than 5 million man hours without Loss Time Incident (LTI) for the second time after the first achivement in 1989.
